Of Ears and Seashells

Here's the deal. I'm going to post every day this week, come rain, shine, or craft disaster. To kick it off, have a shell and an ear.

The shell I picked up along the river when I was out with friends, and I had to have it for an art piece. I'll probably use it for an art doll of some sort.

The ear is a polymer clay "sketch" that I did a few weeks ago for practice. It's shown next to an earring for scale.

  1. That shell is beautiful! Amazing how beautiful the colors of nature are. As much as we try we can never truly recreate that kind of beauty.

The ear, hmmm, I'm still thinking on that one!

  2. You're so right! I feel like I could just stare at the shell all day.

Heh heh, I suppose the ear is a bit creepy by itself. :o)

    Thanks for looking!
